Glow and Dance

New 2025 Incursion!
A colourful celebration of light and energy, where students unleash themselves in a darkened room filled with glowing lights and vibrant energy. Armed with glow sticks, they move freely without the worry of being watched, building self-confidence and embracing the joy of movement. This immersive experience not only encourages fun and creativity but also highlights the physical and emotional benefits of dance, from improved fitness to stress relief. It’s a surefire way to get students moving, grooving, and glowing with positivity!

NVM Indigenous Whole School Rotation Day

Ceremonial performance, traditional dance, a didgeridoo demonstration, and more. Each grade learns a unique routine, incorporating elements of Indigenous culture and storytelling, and performs a ceremony. These performances not only showcase the students' hard work and learning but also foster a deeper appreciation and understanding of Aboriginal traditions and heritage. The entire school community comes together to honour and celebrate Indigenous culture through music, dance, and shared stories.

Cultural Concert

New 2025 Incursion!
Explore diverse dance styles and songs from around the world in this high-energy, one-hour cultural experience/ concert led by two talented artists. These performers immerse students in vibrant global dance traditions and storytelling, highlighting their cultural origins, unique movements, and rhythms. Think of it as a Zumba class infused with cultural dances, captivating storytelling, and dynamic entertainment. It’s easy to follow, enriching, and engaging—a celebration of diversity that brings the world’s dances to life!

African Dance

This high-energy incursion uses dance to tell stories, blending modern styles like hip hop, funk, jazz, and jive. The vibrant African beats will have students moving with confidence and energy.

Contemporary Dance

An accessible blend of ballet, jazz, hip hop, and breakdance. This incursion encourages self-expression through movement, catering to both beginners and more confident dancers.

Broadway

Inspired by famous musicals and productions, Students shine as they recreate classic Broadway moves in a polished, drama-filled production, expressing stories and characters through movement.

Commercial Dance

Encompasses styles like hip hop, jazz, locking, popping, breakdancing, and krumping. Students learn to dance as if performing on stage or in a music video.

Beyonce

Inspired by Beyonce's power and confidence, students master her iconic dance moves, promoting body confidence and positivity.

Latin Dance

Features rhythms of ChaCha, Samba, Rumba, Paso Doble, and Jive. This exhilarating incursion combines fitness elements like cardio and muscle conditioning with Latin-inspired music.

Breakdance

A showcase of athleticism with intricate footwork, acrobatics, and 'power moves.' Our breakdancing instructors are among the best worldwide.

MJ Dance

Celebrates Michael Jackson's iconic dance moves from Thriller to Billie Jean. This dynamic class is perfect for any student who loves music.

Cheerleading

This energetic class focuses on fundamentals of cheerleading, including teamwork, strength, fitness, flexibility, and coordination. Exploring choreographed routines with pom poms.

Hip Hop

Students work through choreographed routines, expressing their style in a incursion that takes dance back to the streets with music they love.

New Zealand Māori Culture

Explores various Haka, Aotearoa’s traditional ceremonial war dance, including its history, meaning, movement, and language.

Dance Therapy

A dance-based incursion that uses movement and fun as a way to manage stress and anxiety among students.

NVM Dance Concert

Our DANCEMOB troupe comes to your school for the ultimate dance experience! Get your kids together to celebrate the benefits of dance and fitness. In a concert format, our energetic instructors will lead kids through the 1-hour session, creating an energising environment to encourage them to dance, groove, pose, battle off and express themselves through 3 different dance styles. Teachers just can’t help themselves and usually join in! It’s the perfect way to spread positive vibes throughout your school!

Around the World

Explore diverse dance styles with routines from Greek, Italian, Dancehall, Indigenous, Haka, Bollywood, African, Latin, Polynesian, and Filipino cultures. Each grade performs a ceremony for the school community, highlighting the rich variety of global dance traditions, movements, and rhythms. We end the performance by getting the school community up for an impromptu flashmob concert celebration—leaving the school buzzing with cultural appreciation and joy!

Our instructors bring the ultimate mind-body experience to your school, offering a dynamic rotational incursion where students are divided into groups and rotate through dance, fitness, and mindfulness workshops.
